Deck plate bolts heavily rusted with crevice corrosion likely
Deck plate bolts heavily rusted with crevice corrosion likely

A very solid sailing yacht but a  fair amount maintenance required including:

Remove concrete for inspection of keel bolts, Repair damage to starboard bow of hull below waterline,Secure port aft deck handrail, Fit longer pipes to heads to give gooseneck well above waterline, A full service and inspection of skin fittings and replacement if required with corrosion resistant fittings, Replace Starboard shroud deck plate and secure starboard forward inner shroud deck plate. Replace rusted riser and rusted jubilee clips,Replace gas pipes.

The internal bolts securing deck plates were heavily rusted and therefore crevice corrosion likely causing rigging to fail.
